It’s (volunteering) a blessing in many ways. Knowing I’m supporting a great cause is primary, but the social connections have been wonderful too. Much support from women who have also experienced loss and heartache in their lives. Not to mention getting to purchase designer clothing at amazing prices. So its a win-win all around.”

I find it very rewarding to know I am a little cog in the big wheel of a ministry that seeks to rescue and bless enslaved, desperate women and show them the grace and love of God.”

(After my husband passed away) I knew I needed to do something with myself… When I found that Bloom provides care to heal, empower and employ women survivors of human trafficking, I knew I wanted to be a part of MSC. In April 2019, I began steaming the clothing that was donated. I am still steaming and enjoying every moment. I am blessed to be a part of MSC/Bloom.”

I started working at My Sister’s Closet just for something to do to take my mind off my husband’s sudden and unexpected death. Now, there’s no place else I’d rather be. The atmosphere, my customers and coworkers always give me a lift, and the cause we support is tremendously important and worthwhile. I truly believe God directed me here.”
